Hummel Bookworm & The Love Lives On, 50 Year Ed.

Two Hummel figurines, 'Bookworm' and the 50th anniversary edition of 'The Love Lives On.' The 'Bookworm' depicts a seated girl reading a picture book and has a label on the back reading 'Book Worm' and the "M.I. Hummel" signature; the bottomis stamped "14B" and "52" with the TMK-3 Stylized Bee mark, dating the piece between 1960-1972. 'The Love Lives On' features a pair of children, a girl with a bouquet and a boy with a love letter and a potted plant reading '50.' The bottom of the figurine has stamps reading '416' and "1980," as well as the 50 year anniversary mark and the 1980 TMK-6 mark. Behind the children, the base bears the 'M.I. Hummel' signature. Dimensions are: 'Bookworm' measures 5 3/4 inches tall X 4 1/2inches wide, 14.6 cm X 11.4 cm, while 'The Love Lives On' measures 6 1/2 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 16.5 cm X 11.4 cm.
