Unsigned Chinese Landscape Painting, 17th Century

A Chinese watercolor and ink painting on silk dating from the 17th century. The painting depicts a landscape scene on a hillside with a fisherman overlooking rice paddies. It is matted and framed. Dimensions are: 8 1/4 inches tall X 14 1/2 inches wide, 21 cm tall X 36.8 cm wide. The frame measures 12 1/2 inches tall X 18 3/4 inches wide, 31.8 cm tall X 47.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.The silk is brittle and severely cracked; the silk shows multiple areas of repair.From a Washington D.C. collector, whose grandfather was a US military advisor to Chiang Kai-shek.
