Chinese Fan Painting of Flowers attrib. Zhou Yigui

A watercolor painting on a paper fan attributed to Zhou Yiqui. The painting, which has one seal, depicts white and purple flowers. The fan has a silk cover that is embroidered with Shou characters and has two tourmaline toggles. Thewooden slats are inlaid with mother of pearl, and two jade discs are inlayed at the bottom. Dimensions are: Fan measures 12 in. tall X 19 in. wide, 30.5 cm tall X 48.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.The base of the fan cover is torn and there are some loose threads. The fan has slight worm damage to the edges and very minor spotting.From an estate in Northern California.
