Chinese Fan Pain. & Cal. by Wu Xianzeng & Xia Suntong

A painting and calligraphy on a fan by Wu Xianzeng (1908–1970) and Xia Suntong (1857–1941). The side featuring the painting has two seals, a paragraph of calligraphy, and depicts four children playing in a landscape. The reverse, which has one seal,is covered in calligraphy. The guards and sticks are made from wood, and the guards are carved. Dimensions are: 12 1/8 inches long X 17 1/4 inches wide, 30.8 cm long X 43.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.It is in overall good condition.
