Chinese Landscape Painting by Huang Binhong

A hanging scroll painting in ink and light watercolor on paper by Huang Binhong. There are two artist seals. The painting depicts a man climbing a path on a pine tree-covered mountain bluff. It is mounted on a silk backing with wooden dowels. Dimensions are: 35 in. tall X 13 in. wide; 88.9 cm tall X 33 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.It is in good condition.From the estate of Professor Hing Tong. Hing Tong (16 February 1922–4 March 2007) was a leading American mathematician.
