A Chinese blanc de chine Guanyin statuette dating from the early 19th century. The statuette, which features 2 seals on the reverse, depicts a Guanyin holding a ruyi wand and standing upon lotuses and waves. It is accompanied by a hardwood stand.Dimensions are: 9 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide, 23.1 cm tall X 8.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.It is in good condition with minor firing cracks to the interior.From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
